Вот так у нас в Амшене, в Шираке и других областях исторической Армении взбивали масло в специальной
бочке хеноци. Получаемое масло по вкусу изумительно (потому что свежее) а оставшийся от взбивания
напиток -- ариан или тан, поставишь в холодильник на пару дней -- лучше пива в 100 раз.

Hadjin Armenians Had No Ammunition in Battle with Turks.

LONDON, Nov 3. -- According to further details received in
Armenian circles in London today regarding the fall of Hadjin,
the Cilician Taurus, to the Turkish Nationalists, it appears
Turks made a converging attack during the third week in October.
Surviving Armenians say a pitched battle occurred in which
Armenian men and boys fought with scythes and sticks, as all
their ammunition had been exhausted.
The Armenians were overpowered and all the innocent civilians
of the town, to the number of 10,000, were put to death by
the Turks.

Продолжаю публиковать бабушкины воспоминания о её семье и прошлом. Её мама (моя прабабушка), которая жила в городе Ладик, рядом с Самсуном говорила не на нашем, амшенском, а на западно-армянском. Правда после замужества уже в Абхазии речь её заметно "обамшенилась", чему прабабушка не очень-то радовалась. Сегодня речь зашла о нравах тамошних турок.

Чем дальше углубляюсь в ставшие доступными старые книги, тем больше удивляюсь...
